NEW! Stamford Youth Orchestra
Stamford Youth Orchestra has now been running since January. We currently have a committed group of young people playing a variety of instruments but always welcome more! Whatever your instrument and ability come along to these fun and informal orchestra sessions. The aim is for younger more in-experienced performers to be supported by the older members ensuring involvement of all ages and abilities.
Will be working initially on basic orchestral skills to enable the group to play together....including musical games and acitivites. Moving on to learning modern pop songs, classical favourites and songs from films and musicals. Performance Opportunities throughout the year at Stamford Festival, Riverside Festival and much more.
WE WILL BE RE LAUNCHING IN SEPTEMBER AS THE ORCHESTRA FOR A PERFORMANCE OF DISNEYS ARISTOCATS KIDS.
